How to join your Committee Listserv

The following is a list of names for the committee listservs that have been set up for ARDLA, courtesy of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville. The abbreviations are the listserv names and are followed by the committee the listserv supports.

DLA-PFD = Professional Development
DLA-PBL = Publicity Committee
DLA-PUB = Publications
DLA-LGSL = Legislation
DLA-FINA = Finance
DLA-CNFR = Conferences
DLA-AWDS = Awards
DLA-EXEC = Executive
DLA-MEMB = Membership

To join one of these listservs follow the instructions below:

Send an E-mail message to the following address

listserv@listserv.uark.edu

Do not put anything in the subject line of the message. In the body of the message put the following information, and only the following information (if you use a signature file in your e-mail messages, make sure it is deleted for this message):

subscribe LISTSERV NAME your name

For example, if John Doe were joining the Legislation committee he would send the following message:

subscribe DLA-LGSL John Doe

All requests to join the list are sent to the moderator who is responsible for approving requests. The list are private and only members of the committees and other authorized ARDLA members and officers may join. The listserv is moderated by Bob Craig at the U of A.
